for the page you read four times and still blanked on

Find out what you'd blank on before the test does.

Rereading makes your notes feel familiar, and familiar feels like knowing. Photograph tonight's page and Inkly turns it into flashcards and a quiz from what you wrote, so you find the gaps tonight instead of on the test.

Free: 10 pages and 3 quiz sets a month. No card, doesn't expire, works in any browser.

Set up around how you actually study

Before you scan anything, Inkly asks five questions. Real screens from the app — your grade sets how deep explanations go, and your classes become the subjects your notes file into.

Inkly asking which grade you are in, with options from 6th grade to grad school.

Questions

Is the free plan actually free?

Yes. Basic gives you 10 scanned pages a month, 3 flashcard or quiz sets a month and unlimited typed notes — with no card and no trial clock. It doesn't expire. Unlimited sets, summaries, chat, voice and the planner are Pro.

What exactly do I get if I don't pay?

Scanning handwriting into typed notes (10 pages a month), 3 sets of flashcards or quizzes from your notes each month, writing and organising notes yourself, and streaks. Unlimited flashcards and quizzes, summaries, study plans, the deadline planner, voice questions and chat over your notes all require Pro.

How good is it at reading handwriting?

Good on ordinary school handwriting, including messy notes and diagrams with labels. It struggles with heavy cursive and very faint pencil. Inkly keeps the original photo alongside the typed text, so you can check a word against what you actually wrote and fix it — a misread word costs you a few seconds rather than the page.

I'm under 18 — can I use it?

Yes, and the free plan needs no card at all. If you want Pro, ask a parent to pay — the subscription is managed from their account and can be cancelled in two taps.

Will it do my homework for me?

No, and it's built not to. It explains from your own notes, points at the note it used, and asks you questions back. It's closer to a patient teacher than an answer machine.

Is there an app?

Inkly runs in any browser, on a phone or a laptop, and your account syncs between them. On a phone you can add it to your home screen and it runs fullscreen like an app. There is no Android app, and it isn't on the App Store yet.

How much is Pro, exactly?

$12.99 a month, or $89.99 for a year — which is $7.50 a month, a saving of about 42%. Twelve monthly payments come to $155.88, so the yearly plan is a little over half of that. Both give you identical features.

How do I cancel?

Any time, from Settings → Plan. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for, then drop to Basic. Your notes stay put either way.

Term starts either way.

Scan one page tonight and see what Inkly does with it. It takes about a minute and costs nothing.

No card. 10 free pages and 3 quiz sets a month, forever.
